Associate Attorney Meghan McDonough graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She is an English Honors Program graduate.
Ms. McDonough is a 2010 graduate of Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida. She excelled at writing in law school, and she was a member of the distinguished Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. She completed extra coursework and received a Certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law.
Ms. McDonough has over eight years of experience in both civil and criminal law. She focused her early career litigating foreclosure matters on behalf of financial institutions. Most recently, she refined her trial skills as an Assistant Public Defender representing the indigent citizens of Polk County, Florida.
Ms. McDonough joined Savage Villoch Law in May 2019. Since then, she has been an invaluable member of our legal team. She focuses her practice on declaratory actions, subrogation suits, and general civil litigation.
Ms. McDonough is a Tampa native and enjoys exploring her hometown, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her two dogs (Archie and Dexter).
